Project Coordinator

Location: Stevenage

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000

Job Type: Full-time, permanent


A global business based in Stevenage is looking for a driven Project Coordinator to join their team. 


Summary/Objective:


The role will be to prioritise and coordinate the key functions to deliver major projects within the projects team.


Working alongside the Project Managers, the complex supply chain team, the customer service executives, and operation leads to ensure that the project is delivered to the customer on time and right first time.


What you will be doing:


You will perform end-to-end project administration activities, whilst liaising with all key stakeholders to ensure we meet our commitments to ensure maximum profitability.


  • To assist in delivering the project on time and within the scope of the proposal

  • To negotiate favourable supply chain deliverables

  • To think differently to deliver efficient solutions.

  • To push the boundaries and innovate 

  • To monitor and report on inventory levels.

  • Build upon existing industry relationships


Essential Functions:


  • Project Progress Management 

  • Provide support to the appropriate Project Manager 

  • Supplier Management, Acknowledgements and OTD management 

  • Stock Control / Kanban understanding and management. 

  • Work with the PM to resolve back markers 

  • Monitor engineering queries and progress updates on project trackers

  • Open Order Book Reconcilement 

  • Strong System Administration


Skills & Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a project coordinator 

  • Able to prepare and interpret flow charts, schedules etc. 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask

  • Team communicator 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (High level of proficiency)

  • Good understanding of BoMs (Bill of Materials)
