About the Role
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Line Cloud Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure while working with cutting-edge technology.
In this position, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, implementing innovative cloud solutions, and ensuring the reliability and security of cloud services across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced support for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements
Ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cloud projects on time and within budget
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and processes
Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of cloud resources
Participate in capacity planning and optimisation of cloud environments
Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures
Manage and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud services
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a 2nd Line Engineer with a focus on cloud technologies
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of networking principles and cloud security best practices
Proven track record in implementing cloud solutions
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Strong problem-solving abilities with capability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Highly organised with strong time management skills

Location: Hybrid working (office locations available in Mansfield, Horsham, or London)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
